"The Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust provides grants to nonprofit organizations that focus on the philanthropic interests and causes Nina Pulliam supported during her lifetime.” Specifically, the Trust awards grants to organizations for either “Helping People in Need,” “Protecting Animals and Nature,” or “Enriching Community Life”.

The Citizens Energy Group Water Division rewards local watershed groups for making improvements to water quality.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Education Center provides professional training and support for educators and volunteers through five incredible programs – all aimed at promoting responsible stewardship of our natural resources.

In 1987, amendments to the Clean Water Act (1987) established Section 319 for awarding grants to help fund non-point source pollution management. Grantees are awarded funds by their state governments. For Indiana, IDEM awards the grants.
